The Linda Creed Foundation is dedicated to achieving victory over breast cancer. Knowledge, awareness, and action are key weapons in this fight. We want you to know the facts about this disease. Should you or a loved one, however, be diagnosed with breast cancer, we have the resources to help you. We also offer information and support to women who are living with breast cancer.
What We Provide
![]() Nationally acclaimed songwriter Linda Creed died at the age of 37 after battling breast cancer for 11 years. She is best known for composing, "The Greatest Love of All," which has been recorded by Whitney Houston and George Benson. Other Linda Creed songs have resulted in gold albums for Roberta Flack, George Benson and Diana Ross, as well as two platinum albums for Teddy Pendergrass. Linda Creed is one of two Philadelphia area women whose faces and stories appear in The Face of Breast Cancer: A Photographic Exhibit. A Mt. Airy native and Germantown High School graduate, Creed was living in Ambler, Montgomery County with her husband and children at the time of her death. Soon thereafter, The Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation was born with the mission of providing education and support and raising awareness. As part of fulfilling its mission, the Foundation provideds free mammography screenings for uninsured and underinsured women.
